Telecoms equipment maker Ericsson has expanded its lawsuit against mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics concerning alleged patent violations, Ericsson said.
The firm filed a lawsuit against Samsung in February this year, alleging patent infringements in Britain, Germany, the United States and the Netherlands. Alleged infringements of 11 patents have now been added to the lawsuit, the firm said.
"It is a continuation of the process in which we sued Samsung in February," a spokeswoman for Ericsson said.
A Samsung spokeswoman in Seoul declined to comment.
