Email security player BoxSentry signs three partners

Email security vendor BoxSentry has signed up three reseller partners as part of an "aggressive" expansion plan.

NSW-based GuardianITManageNET and Rojan partnered with BoxSentry and its distributor Vadis, to provide managed security services to Australian businesses.

Manish Goel, CEO of BoxSentry told CRN that the company's strategy was to increase partners across the country.

"We're good at the technology, let the reseller sell it to the customer," he said.

Raj Dalal, VP Marketing & Alliances said while the focus has been on NSW, "the next step was expanding around Australia."

Gerry Tucker, director at Vadis said partners have access to end user leads, back-end and marketing support.

"BoxSentry's approach to email integrity...combined with the solution's multi-deployment options, provides a clear differentiation," said Tucker.

"The multi-tenancy aspect of the solution is an ideal fit for the service provider.

"Deep domain level configuration and reporting functions allow service providers to personalise the services," he added.

Tucker said BoxSentry encourages white labelling, so managed security service providers can rebrand the service.

Meanwhile, BoxSentry has announced the signing of a major customer.

Dental Corporation, in partnership with ManageNET and Vadis has deployed BoxSentry email security service.

"In the past, there were numerous instances where critical emails were being lost amongst the deluge of spam," said Ramez Morris, senior IT executive for Dental Corporation.

"We switched to BoxSentry's cloud-based solution with minimum effort and are now confident that we receive all legitimate email communications with negligible spam," he said.

BoxSentry's Goel told CRN that the deal expanded BoxSentry's experience in the medical space.

Goel said the networking portal, doctors.net in the UK, has been a customer of BoxSentry for "a number of years."

BoxSentry technologies include:

  • RealMail - a multi-tenant email security platform for managed security service providers.
  • TrustCloud - a cloud-based service for email receiver (ISP's) to identify legitimate senders of email from trusted domains.
  •  LogiQ - an email integrity engine for corporate and governments.

BoxSentry entered the Australian market in August 2009.
