Eaton has launched the 5E UPS range of power protection products for workstations, business telephony, routers and point-of-sale equipment. The 5E can also be used as a portable AC power source thanks to its cold start feature.
Made for the Australian and New Zealand markets with country specific outlets, the 5E provides power protection in disturbed electrical environments. Voltage fluctuations are automatically corrected using an AVR device (booster & fader) without requiring the batteries. This directly equates to longer battery service life and lower cost of ongoing maintenance.
It has a HID-compliant USB port for automatic integration with common operating systems such as Windows, Mac OS and Linux. The 5E is also compatible with Eaton UPS Companion power management software.
The 650 and 850VA models have no fan and can be deployed where fan noise can be an issue.
The 5E is available in five models ranging from 650VA/360W too 2000VA/1200W. The 5E is priced from $116.00 RRP, comes with a one year warranty.
