Multinational UPS supplier Eaton has created three new roles to support growth in Australia.
Gavin Swadling has been appointed as national strategic partnerships and alliance manager and will be responsible for managing and growing the brand, value and coverage of Eaton ANZ.
Swadling has 12 years of experience and started out in IT support and analysis for Medtech Global in 2004. He then worked for Stratus Technologies and Network Data Solutions until he joined Natural Power Solutions (NPS) in 2012. Swadling was most recently NPS' regional sales manager for NSW, ACT and New Zealand.
Also joining Eaton is Richard Farrell, who has been appointed the national solutions sales manager.
Farrell's experience covers both critical power and data centre sales. He has previously held senior partner, sales development and channel management roles at Fusion, Juniper Networks, APC by Schneider Electric, Express Data and Dimension Data.
Chris Moore, Eaton national sales and service manager for power quality, has been promoted to the new role of head of services. Moore has more than 20 years’ experience in the IT industry and will be responsible for Eaton’s service offering for critical power and energy management solutions. He will lead an integrated services team of more than 40 people
John Atherton, Eaton's general manager for power quality in Australia and New Zealand welcomed the new appointments.
"We feel that we have enhanced our capability in the Australian market and channel with the appointment of these three talented and experienced individuals," he said.
