Queensland-based hardware distributor, Electronic Accessories Australia (EAA) has been liquidated, owing $1.2 million to creditors.
EAA voluntarily appointed Worrell Solvency and Forensic Accountants as administrator on 11 August before officially liquidating the company on September 7.
A spokesperson for Worrell said the company had a proof of debt of $1.2 million, with no likelihood of dividends to be paid to around 23 unsecured creditors.
The liquidator had only received proof of debts from 21 creditors, both secured and unsecured, however that number is likely to rise, said the spokesperson.
The company had around eight employees, who were terminated before the appointment of Worrell.
The spokesperson declined to name creditors, but confirmed creditors were domestic and overseas organisations.
EAA was a distributor of PC and Mac accessories and peripherals, with vendor partners including PowerShield, Ultra and Edimax.
CRN attempted to contact EAA at press time but phone lines had been disconnected.
