DXC Technology has been awarded an IT services contract by the Department of Defence.
The $3.2 million deal covers the management of “major enhancements” of existing Defence applications.
A department spokesperson told CRN that the contract is new and no other companies bidded for the work.
“The contract is a combination of fixed price and time and materials; seven resources have been identified for the time and materials component,” the spokesperson said.
The contract runs from October 2019 to May 2022.
DXC was chosen from Defence’s Information Communication Technology Provider Arrangement, a panel of 133 suppliers formed in 2018.
