DXC has been awarded a two-year contract worth $460,000 by Gippsland Water to provide management and support services around Oracle's Fusion Cloud ERP suite.
Gippsland Water has 375 operational, engineering, financial, environmental, and administrative employees and supplies drinking water to 77,415 households and businesses, and wastewater services to more than 69,975 households and businesses, across 43 towns in Victoria.
"Gippsland Water is midway through a multi-year project to upgrade its core business systems to support its transition to a modern digital utility," a Gippsland Water spokesperson told techpartner.news.
"This includes introducing an Enterprise Resource Planning System to support human resources, finance, procurement, and supply chain functions, as well as project management capability.
"The project is due to be fully delivered in mid 2027 and will replace several legacy systems and manual processes."
DXC's remit covers the areas of Core Finance (ERP, Procurement, Supply Chain, Product Management, Project Portfolio Management); Human Capital Management (Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Time and Labor, Workforce Scheduling, Aurion Payroll); and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling).
The contract also covers Oracle Field Services Cloud (works and inspections management, works resource scheduling and resource consumption) and Oracle Integration Cloud (two-way integrations within Oracle Cloud and to external and on-premise software).
