DXC Technology has announced a multi-year global alliance with Anthropic to bring Claude into the mission-critical technology infrastructure DXC operates for banks, airlines, insurers, manufacturers and government agencies worldwide.

Under the agreement, DXC joins Anthropic's Claude Partner Network as one of a small number of Global Premier partners.

The company plans to train and certify tens of thousands of forward-deployed engineers through the Anthropic Partner Academy within 90 days, giving them persistent access to Claude and progressive proficiency in designing, deploying and governing agentic AI systems.

The alliance formalises and extends DXC's existing internal use of Claude. The company said Claude served as the primary development tool for building DXC OASIS, its AI-native orchestration platform for managed services, and that it accelerated software delivery by an estimated ten times, with more than 95 per cent of code generated by Claude before human review.

DXC said initial focus areas for the partnership include insurance, cybersecurity and application services. Planned offerings include an insurance-focused agentic solution for core systems transformation, a Modernisation as a Service (MaaS) capability applying Claude to legacy code refactoring, a Claude-powered security engineer sub-agent for security operations centres, and Anthropic-certified DXC OASIS agents for enterprise application maintenance.

Raul Fernandez, president and chief executive at DXC Technology, said this alliance with Anthropic combines trust and experience with the most advanced AI technology available and gives customers something they cannot get anywhere else.

"We are already using Claude across our own operations and our new DXC OASIS platform. Now we are scaling that capability directly into the mission-critical technology systems we run for our customers," he said.
