DTA to refresh whole-of-govt Data Centre Panel

The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) is undertaking a refresh of the Data Centre Panel that it introduced in 2023.

The panel covers the supply of data centre facilities, including collocated facilities and prefabricated data centres, allowing a range of Australian Government and other approved entities to purchase certain data centre services (offerings).

As part of this refresh, the DTA is continuing the pricing regime that sets the maximum price of certain offerings for a minimum period of twelve months. Sellers will be given the opportunity to review their maximum prices at least annually.

According to the standing offer, there are currently 22 suppliers as part of the panel.

These include A.G. Coombs; Australian Data Centres; CDC Data Centres; Datapod; DCI Data Centers; Equinix Australia; Fujitsu Australia; iseek; Macquarie Technology Operations; Manteena; NEXTDC; Oper8 Global; Pier DC; Precision Metals Queanbeyan; Secure Bits; Springfield Real Estate Sales; Telstra; TPG; Ventia Australia; Vertiv; and YourDC.

The request for tender closes at 4PM on 17 October 2025, with the application evaluation set to be completed by March 2026.

The DTA estimates that the average annual spend on services to be procured under the Data Centre Panel panel by Non-Corporate Commonwealth Entities will be approximately $100 million per annum.
