The federal government's Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) is again putting out the call for enterprise resource planning (ERP) vendors to apply to join its BuyICT software marketplace panel.
Existing vendors are welcome to apply, or to update their service offerings, the agency said.
DTA has been asking ERP vendors to join its panel several times since 2023.
As per before, the category features the ERP core and edge product class, and eight related service classes that include:
- Research and design services
- Project and change management services
- Business analysis and process optimisation services
- Application software development services
- Cybersecurity services
- Solutions implementation, integration, and testing services
- Data analytics and business intelligence services
- Training, learning and development services
In July last year, DTA's general manager of the digital investment advice and sourcing division, Wayne Poels, said the change gives the Australia public service more autonomy and choice in modernising their ERP systems.
"The establishment of the new category means agencies now have access to a wider variety of technologies, vendors and innovative solutions that best meet their needs and budgets," Poels said.
Workday is a notable vendor that was accepted into the DTA's BuyICT marketplace in August last year.
DTA's deadline for the tender request is March 14 this year, and applications have to be filed before 5 pm AEST that day.
