Dicker Data has inked a deal giving it full distribution access to Fujitsu’s Primergy server and Eternus storage lines.
Chief executive David Dicker said the deal will provide certainty for customers worried by the proposed sale by IBM of its x86 lines to Lenovo, and the ongoing uncertainty around Dell.
He added that bringing Fujitsu aboard will give Dicker incremental growth in the Australian server market.
Fujitsu was also bullish about the deal, describing Dicker Data as a dependable and reliable distributor with access to a broad reseller base.
