Security vendor SonicWall has honoured its global partners, with a number of Australian companies being recognised.
Dicker Data's Australian arm won distributor of the year, while Dynatek Solutions was named SonicWall's enterprise partner of the year.
Com-X in Sydney got a boost by SonicWall, picking up the newcomer of the year award.
The company is a managed services provider, which also specialises in digital workspace and cyber security.
Last year, Com-x achieved Citrix Preferred Services Partner status.
Meanwhile, Sydney-based IT services provider Virtual Graffiti took out the SonicWall partner of the year gong.
Mark Whittington, the chief executive of Ozdoc Solutions, which focuses on healthcare and medical clinics, was named SonicWall's partner sales hero of the year.
SonicWall's chief executive Bob VanKirk said many of the company's partners posted record years in 2024.
“While partners have been key to SonicWall’s success for over 30 years, our dramatic transformation over the last two years is directly attributable to SonicWall stepping it up and taking a relentless focus on our valued partners," VanKirk said.
“That’s meant listening to and acting upon their key needs and feedback, which has in turn shaped our roadmaps (organic and inorganic), the delivery of technical support (reduced wait times with immediate access to higher tiers of support), how we charge for our products and services, sales resource alignment, and much, much more."
