The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) is looking for a secure web gateway service in order to modernise and futureproof its perimeter security services with the adoption of Secure Service Edge (SSE).
DHA said the solution that will need to be resilient, robust, and focused on ensuring minimal impact on the Department’s 24-hour, 365 day business needs.
The solution will not only need to meet existing gateway cyber security requirements but also have the capacity to evolve to counter new and emerging threats, as well as cater for the Department’s cloud activities, both now and into future.
In January, DHA signed a $165 million contract with IBM for software licenses, hardware and hardware maintenance across its enterprise mainframe, alongside storage services.
The timeframe for delivery is three years from contract execution.
The tender closes on 30 April.
