Data#3 has named Rowena Collins as GM for Queensland and Pacific Islands, effective 1 July 2025.
Collins succeeds Ray Merlano, who is retiring after a career spanning over 27 years with the company.
Collins brings over 20 years of experience in the ICT industry, including more than 13 years with Data#3. She has held senior roles across services and major accounts, working with both commercial and government sectors.
Data#3 chief customer officer, John Tan, said while the company was fortunate to have a strong field of candidates, Collins' deep understanding of the business, her collaborative leadership style and her proven ability to deliver results made her the standout choice.
"Her strong services background aligns with our commitment to helping customers achieve their business and technology outcomes through highly skilled resources, vendor expertise, and consistent, collaborative delivery that maximises the value of every technology investment," he said.
Collins said Queensland has always been a strong, strategic market for Data#3.
"I’m excited to build on that momentum. I look forward to working closely with our customers, partners, and people to continue delivering exceptional outcomes," she said.
Data#3 CEO and MD Brad Colledge said Merlano leaves behind a legacy of strong leadership and customer focus.
"We thank him for his many years of service and wish him all the best in retirement," he said.
"Rowena’s appointment ensures continuity and fresh energy as we continue to grow our Queensland business and support our customers in delivering their digital futures.”
