At its annual general meeting, held on 2 November, managing director John Grant confirmed that the first quarter result is ahead of plan and the forecast for the half year is on track to exceed the results of the previous first half.
“We planned to increase investment through the first half and to be slightly better than last year by its end. At the end of the first quarter, profit before tax is ahead of plan and around 10 percent up on the previous year,” he said.
The service outfit’s revenues are reported to be $285 million in 2006/07 financial year. The company has around 350 employees and is headquartered in Brisbane, and has offices located in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Townsville, Rockhampton, Gladstone and New Caledonia.
Recently Chairman Richard Anderson acknowledged Grant’s recent election to the role of Chairman of the Board of the peak industry body, the Australian Information Industry Association.
