Network security vendor Cyberoam has addressed budget constraint issues in the education sector, announcing exclusive discounts specifically for the industry.
The security solutions group has responded to latest figures by analysts IDC, which found 35 percent of Australian educational organisations operated on reduced ICT budgets.
Educational institutions will now receive up to 20 percent off Cyberoam products and subscriptions upon purchase. The sector makes up a significant portion of Cyberoam users.
A Cyberoam spokesperson told CRN that at the risk of institutions opting for inferior and low-cost alternatives, the promotion provides access to high-quality network security without "burning a hole" in customers' wallets.
The offer is available upon registration on the deal page of the vendor's website and is only valid for accredited organisations until 31 March, 2015. The discount cannot be used with other offers.
Sophos recently acquired Cyberoam Technologies and has continued to integrate the company into its UTM portfolio.
