In summary

  • Coro has partnered with Keepit to integrate immutable, air-gapped backup and recovery directly into its cybersecurity platform for organisations with small IT teams.
  • The integration lets Coro customers recover supported SaaS application data after accidental deletion, corruption or cyberattacks.
  • Storage kept separate from production data and third-party sub-processors.

Cybersecurity platform provider Coro has partnered with cloud data protection vendor Keepit to integrate Keepit's backup and recovery capabilities directly into the Coro platform, targeting organisations with small IT teams.

The partnership adds Keepit's vendor-independent, air-gapped backup architecture to Coro's existing stack, which the company said covers endpoint, email, cloud, network, identity, data protection and security awareness training in a single platform.

Through the integration, Coro customers will gain access to immutable backup and recovery for supported SaaS applications, with Keepit's storage kept completely separate from production data and independent of third-party sub-processors.

Coro said its platform's shared AI intelligence already auto-resolves more than 95% of threats, and adding Keepit's recovery capabilities is intended to further reduce the operational workload on smaller IT teams.

The combined offering is also intended to support compliance with regulatory frameworks including NIS2, DORA, GDPR and HIPAA, according to the companies.

"Our partnership with Keepit adds independent, immutable backup and recovery for supported SaaS applications," said Joe Sykora, chief executive at Coro.

"By complementing Coro's cloud security capabilities, it helps customers recover critical data following accidental deletion, corruption, or a cyberattack without juggling multiple vendor interfaces."

"Relying on conventional data protection in an era of AI-driven threats is no longer sufficient," said Frederik Schouboe, co-founder and chief vision officer at Keepit.

"Our integration with Coro allows IT teams to easily shift to a proactive, security-first strategy where their backup is completely isolated and resilient."

Keepit's integrated backup protection is currently in early access for Coro customers, with general availability expected by the end of 2026.
