Data centre cooling solutions vendor Stulz has acquired UK-based modular data centre vendor Technology Space Integration (TSI).
Managing director of Stulz Australia and New Zealand John Jakovcevic said the acquisition allows the vendor to offer micro data centres, as well as prefabricated data centres. "It’s a timely investment with the emerging internet of things and follows our recent investment in CoolIT, a leading supplier of liquid cooling technology.”
Stulz identified modular data centres as a growing market segment, said global managing director Oliver Stulz, adding that the acquisition would allow both companies to deliver solutions using its cooling technology.
"This joint venture with TSI allows us to offer customers a complete solution for modular data centres from high performance computing to telecom enclosures using the latest bespoke designed cooling Stulz technology," said Stulz.
Headquartered in Germany, Stulz has over 5,300 employees in 18 countries. It provides mission critical cooling solutions and assessments for data centres.
TSI has offices in the UK and France. It also offers rapid deployment data centres and scalable modular data centres.
