Commander Communications has signed up to provide Earthwave’s managed security products to end-users in the mid-market sector.
The partnership will see Commander become an Elite Earthwave Certified Security Provider, under its Volante range of managed services.
Earthwave offers real-time managed security services for around the clock network security management and monitoring to protect an organisation’s critical information assets. All of the vendor’s core services are developed and delivered in Australia.
Under the agreement Commander will provide account management, on site services, procurement, integration and help desk services. Earthwave will provide intellectual property to deliver the managed security services which includes, a 24 hour-a-day, seven days a week security management and monitoring service.
Adrian Coote, managing director of Commander said the partnership will provide experienced offering in handling secure network environments.
The partnership aims to attract medium to enterprise level customers with a particular focus on government and financial sectors. The managed security services are delivered out of Sydney and Canberra.
“The partnership offers existing and potential Commander customers access to the complete suite of Earthwave services including managed security services, secure Internet gateway, secure hosting and security consulting,” he said.
