Global content delivery network and security provider Cloudflare has appointed Brenton Nicol as its partner technical services manager for Asia-Pacific, Japan and China (APJC).

Sydney-based Nicol announced his new role on LinkedIn, which will see him join Cloudflare's newly formed APJC partner team.

"I’m excited to share that I'm joining the partner team at Cloudflare to grow our partner ecosystem in the APJC region," Nicol said in the post.

"It's an amazing opportunity to be part of a newly formed team within Cloudflare as we ramp up working with the local channel to drive to secure access to the always online world."

"I'm looking forward to my continued efforts in working with the partner channel community!"

Nicol has over 15 year's IT industry experience, having spent the last six at ConnectWise in several sales engineering leadership roles.

He previously spent three years at Ingram Micro serving as a channel account specialist and business development manager for managed services.

Prior to that, Nicol had an over five-year stint at Hotline IT.

Nicol's appointment comes after Cloudflare appointed Steve Bray as its head of Australia and New Zealand late last year.
