Machine learning and analytics vendor Cloudera has appointed Nick Hoskins as its country manager for Australia and New Zealand.
Hoskins commenced his role in January after a 12-year stint at Citrix, last serving as ANZ senior director for enterprise and corporate sales.
His responsibilities include driving growth in ANZ, as well as expanding Cloudera’s customer base and partner ecosystem.
“I am thrilled to join Cloudera and lead the company’s expansion in ANZ. Having held numerous senior leadership positions in sales and partner development I can see many great opportunities for Cloudera to excel in the region,” Hoskins said.
“I am confident that my hands-on approach to coaching, performance management, and career development of my team members will enable us to build a strong core team to drive repeatable success with Cloudera’s machine learning and advanced analytics solutions.”
Hoskins joined Citrix in 2004 as channel sales manager for New South Wales, rising up to director of field sales and director of corporate sales before his appointment as senior director in 2016.
He also held various sales roles at systems integrator Secure Data Group and CA Technologies dating back to 1996.
