The security vendor’s recent channel expansion activities, driven by their distributor itX, is beginning to take shape with the addition of two new associate resellers, Canberra based CommsNet Group and Sydney based Go Systems.
The newly appointed partners are now able to provide Clearswift’s entire range of content security products and services, with particular emphasis on Clearswift’s MIMEsweeper appliances.
Peter Croft, Clearswift managing director A/NZ, said CommsNet and Go Systems were chosen as associate resellers because they are specialists in the field of IT security and have a firm understanding of our range of products and services.
“They are well established in the industry in ANZ and have a reputation for having great technical and sales skills. We partnered with them because we feel they can do an exceptional job in representing Clearswift in the SME and government spaces,” Croft said.
In an interview with CRN, Croft said Clearswift is looking to appoint more associate resellers in the coming months.
“Clearswift’s recent mail and web appliances, with our email managed service, address this current market need and are suitable for more resellers without specific Clearswift MIMEsweeper experience,” he said. "Resellers can expect healthy margins above 20 percent, depending on their level of commitment and activity.
