Check Point Software Technologies has announced the successful completion and delivery of an Australian Government Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) assessment Report for its Check Point Cloud Infinity products, at the Protected classification level.
The assessment was conducted by NJOY Security, an Australian Signals Directorate (ASD)-endorsed IRAP Assessor specialising in cloud security and compliance.
The signed Assessment Report administered by the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) confirms that Check Point has been formally assessed under the Australian Government’s IRAP framework.
The assessment enables Check Point and its trusted partners to specifically serve Australian government and critical infrastructure providers with Check Point Infinity, an AI-powered cloud-delivered security management platform that aims to reduce complexity supporting agency risk assessments, lower total cost of ownership and tighten organisational compliance, procurement decisions and risk posture.
The assessment examined seventeen Check Point Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Check Point Infinity products against the March 2025 edition of the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Information Security Manual (ISM).
In total, 1,003 ISM controls were reviewed, of which 791 were deemed in scope for the Check Point Cloud IRAP. These in-scope controls generated 1,745 individual validation tasks, resulting in the review of more than 4,000 supporting artefacts, including policies, configurations, screenshots, workflows, and logs.
Across all cloud environments, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure, the assessment confirmed that Check Point maintains a high level of assurance and governance maturity, supported by well-documented processes and automation-driven safeguards.
“This IRAP assessment reinforces our capacity to maintain a mature, globally standardised, and risk-aware security posture across administrative, production, and cloud environments," said David Caspari, MD for Check Point Software Technologies Australia/New Zealand.
"This formal assessment reinforces our prevention – first approach and helps government agencies leveraged trusted AI-powered security built to Australian standards.
“We will now be able to further serve Australian government agencies with the robust security standards required in the public sector while at the same time our Australian channel partners also now have more market opportunities to strengthen the cyber defences of Australian government agencies with a suite of Check Point cyber security solutions which facilitate faster and more informed decisions.”
