CCTV vendor taps local distributor NAS Australia

Hong Kong-based CCTV vendor WAMA has appointed NAS Australia as the local distributor for its video surveillance technology.

It marks the first step into Australia for WAMA, which offers a range of surveillance products for the mass market and is expanding its distribution networks across Asia, Europe, Middle East, North America and South Africa.

David Dargie, product director of NAS Australia, said: "Pairing cutting-edge electronic technologies with old-fashioned support and service is what we do best.

"We look forward to leading future developments of the IP CCTV technology as customers look to get smarter with their CCTV systems."

WAMA chief executive Dr Wallace Ma called the Australian arrival "a significant step towards achieving our goal of becoming a global brand".

"NAS Australia has many years of experiences in the industry and we share the same vision of delivering high-quality products and excellent services to the market. I am confident that our cooperation will bring many new opportunities to the WAMA ecosystem."

NAS was established in 1982 and focuses on TV reception, custom installation and security products.
