Case study: Emporium Hotel buys Panasonic Audio Visual solution

The installation is part of Emporium's vision to set a new benchmark for hospitality and to establish itself as Brisbane's premier luxury hotel.

Established in 2007, the 106-room hotel is part of a $300 million development in Brisbane's New Farm precinct.

Audio visual specialist Videopro implemented the digital display solution.

It selected Panasonic because it could offer the hotel a complete Full High Definition display solution, including in-room entertainment, boardroom applications and larger public displays.

Jason Derry, integrated solutions manager VideoPro, said Panasonic was the perfect fit for the Emporium Hotel.

"Panasonic has a long established reputation in the hospitality industry for quality display solutions that are flexible and reliable, making it the clear choice to meet Emporium's needs," he said.

Three Panasonic plasma display panels have been installed in the boardrooms and all conference rooms feature Panasonic data-projectors.

"The guest feedback has been overwhelming, especially for the large screen in the bar," said Peter Savoff hotel general manager.

Rob Mayer, group manager AV/IT, Business Systems Panasonic Australia said Video Pro's installation in the Emporium Hotel capitalises on the wide range of applications and content delivery that is possible with Panasonic technology.
