Canon snaps up marketing manager

Previously managing director of Canon New Zealand, Manson is responsible for marketing all products and services across the Oceania region.

"This is an exciting new role and I believe there are significant opportunities in our market, despite the current economic conditions," said Manson.

"We need to keep focused on putting in place the correct business model and building a platform for long-term success."

This newly created position is part of the company's realignment to a new channel focused business model.

"Craig is well-served for this role because of his extensive leadership experience at Canon New Zealand," says Allan Corder, chief operating officer (COO) and deputy managing director, Canon Australia.

"This appointment is part of our current transformation to realign business and consumer divisions to help us enhance service levels for customers and deliver a broader range of offerings from across Canon."

Mike Johnston has been appointed to the newly created position of country manager at Canon New Zealand. He was previously the company's head of customer services.
