Since January 1, 2008 the new online training module from Canon has been available to resellers seeking a better understanding of the vendor’s printing products.
“The challenge for resellers is to stay informed and up to date about new technologies and features in an ever changing market,” said Heidi Newbery, product training manager – Consumer Imaging Products Group, Canon Australia. “Canon’s online training modules help resellers to better understand Canon’s products and technology so that they can clearly explain the updates and advantages of purchasing a Canon to their customers.”
The module covers the basics of laser printer functionality as well as advanced features such as Instant Warm-Up, CAPT (Canon Advanced Printing Technology) and A.I.R (Automatic Image Refinement).
“In the early days of laser printers, advances revolved around the quality of the laser beams,” said Alyson Barden, product manager – Consumer Imaging Product Group, Canon Australia. “Whist this is still important, there are a number of new advanced technologies also being introduced, such as CAPT, Instant Warm-UP and A.I.R which are very relevant to customers as they help to increase the speed and quality of the machines.”
Resellers that complete the free course will be given the chance to win a LBP 5100 colour laser printer or a $200 Red Balloon gift certificate.
