Canberra's Epicon develops cloud-based IT management platform

Canberra-based IT service management provider Epicon has launched a new cloud-based IT management platform.

The fully-managed platform offers secure IT service management (ITSM), AI for IT operations, enterprise monitoring and integration and cloud brokerage. All are available as-a-service.

The platform passed Information Security Registered Assessors Programme (IRAP ) assessment to win "PROTECTED" level status, making it suitable for government and enterprise customers.

“Our fully managed and integrated IT Service Management and IT Operations Platforms allow customers to consume services on demand, while seamlessly integrated to present a holistic view of IT performance across their enterprise,” Epicon chief executive Wayne Gowland said.

Gowland added that service integration and AIOps (artificial intelligence for IT operations) “provides abstraction” from service provider tools and processes. The services would allow for “continuous transformation, process automation and a correlated business service view of performance across the end to end enterprise and delivery chain”.

“Customers can no longer afford to be locked into the traditional model of service provider tools and inefficient IT Service Management models,” Gowland said.
