Canberra software services specialist AcronymIT has won a software licence contract with the Department of Home Affairs.
The deal was valued at just over $1.1 million, covering licence renewals for Adobe software, according to a department spokesperson. The specifics of the software involved was not disclosed.
The contract runs for a three-year period, starting from September 2019 to September 2022.
AusTender revealed the procurement was done through the DTA’s Whole of Australian Government Software Licensing and Services (SLS) Panel, which currently has 148 suppliers listed.
“This procurement was conducted in accordance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and the Department’s internal procurement framework,” the spokesperson said.
AcronymIT, based in the ACT suburb of Manuka, specialises in software licence management and software asset management. Apart from Adobe, its vendor partners include Citrix, Sophos, Symantec, Veritas and more.
