Essential Tech has attained the globally recognised ISO27001:2022 certification, confirming its adherence to the highest standards in information security management.
ISO27001:2022 is an information security management system standard that provides a systematic approach to managing sensitive company information, encompassing people, processes, and IT systems.
The standard, part of the ISO/IEC 27000 family, ensures comprehensive risk management practices are in place throughout an organisation.
"Achieving ISO27001:2022 certification is a significant milestone for Essential Tech," Michael Coward, director of Essential Tech, said.
The certification process involved an extensive audit of Essential Tech's information security management system by an independent certification body.
A rigorous evaluation verified that the company's security practices met or exceeded the stringent requirements set by the standard, including risk assessment, security policy development, employee training, and continuous monitoring.
"Achieving ISO27001:2022 certification demonstrates our commitment to protecting our clients' data from potential threats and breaches and assures them that sensitive information is handled with the highest level of care and protection, strengthening our position as their trusted partner," Essential Tech's sales director Brendan Felstead said.
