Brisbane MSSP Emantra attains government hosting certification framework status

Brisbane-headquartered managed security service provider Emantra has attained federal government Certified Strategic Cloud Services Provider status for its GovCloud product.

The certification has seen the company included in the list of providers for the government's Hosting Certification Framework (HCF), becoming the first addition to the list in the past 12 months.

Launched in 2005, GovCloud offers government clients scalable physical and virtual machines.

It provides dedicated or multi-tenanted instances secured by Emantra’s IRAP Assessed ready-to-deploy secure internet gateways.

The HCF provides assurance that service providers offer government customers secure hosting services.

Services must meet strict organisation and security controls around facilities that host government data, their systems, supply chains, ownership and personnel.

“This is a significant achievement for Emantra and one that we plan to build upon as a company," the company's general manager Ashley Knowles said.

"To make this list at the highest level is a true testament to the commitment we have to our government customers."

"We are proud to be one of the only wholly Australian-owned businesses to make the list, something that resonates with our values as a business."

"We are continuing to look at ways we can better serve our government customers by delivering to our core competency.”
