Australian education software developer, Entellect Solutions, has sold its eMinerva Enterprise student management solution licence to Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE).
Entellect’s CEO, Joe Younane, told CRN, BCE forked out around $2 million for the licence, with of the amount payable within 20 business days.
“The agreement also contains total support fees of around $1 million to be paid by BCE over a minimum five year period commencing from the date of initial deployment,” he said.
Under the agreement, Entellect will start rolling out eMinvera Enterprise to 140 schools and 53,000 students, with the project expected to continue over the next 18 months.
“Entellect has been involved with BCE for a number of years and this deal has been a result of that relationship,” said Younane.
The deal rolls off the back of eMinerva Enterprise coming on top of the recent acceptance certification by the Department of Education Tasmania.
