TSA Communications is one of the largest NEC Telephony dealers in Queensland and provides solutions such as PABX, VoIP, maintenance services, handsets and other telephony hardware, which complement Brennan’s existing range of voice, data and Internet solutions.
According Dave Stevens, managing director at Brennan, the deal will add an extra $5 million per annum to Brennan’s revenues, as well as an extra 25 staff and around 1,000 business customers.
However, TSA Communications' existing managing director, David Aniscar and CEO, Mark Condon, will be transitioning out of the business to focus on growing TSA's other line of business - "their burgeoning software business", said Stevens.
In an interview with CRN, he said the TSA Communications deal supports our growth strategy by immediately increasing our scale and delivering revenue generating opportunities, such as the potential to cross sell its range of IT&T solutions to a new client case.
"There is a natural fit between the telephony solutions TSA Communications provides and the additional services we can offer, which enables us to grow client value and overall client spend. Another exciting opportunity is TSA's existing partner status with NEC. Currently TSA Communications enjoys strong referrals from NEC and this relationship will continue under the new arrangement and be extended to NSW and Victoria as well," said Stevens.
According to Stevens, TSA Communications will be rebranded under the Brennan name.
