Box has appointed long-time Microsoft exec Verity White to lead its Australia and New Zealand channel.
White assumes the role of director of strategic alliances and channel this week, leading the cloud content management vendor’s strategic alliances, service provider channel strategy and channel sales.
"I'm thrilled to be joining and leading the channel organisation at Box Australia, especially at such a pivotal and disruptive time in the industry,” White told CRN.
“Box has an incredible opportunity, a great product, and a unique culture. I'm excited to work with our partner network to help Australian companies move to the cloud for content management."
Prior to joining Box, White last held the role of senior partner development manager at Microsoft Australia from 2014 to September this year.
She first joined Microsoft’s SMB business in the United Kingdom in 2011 before moving to the vendor’s Australian office in 2014. Before joining Microsoft, White also worked at Sophos UK in a channel sales role.
