Boston Consulting Group (BCG) said it has relocated to Perth's premier office tower at the QV1, with 1350 m2 office floor space.
The global management consulting firm celebrated the opening of its new, larger and state-of-the-art office with an official event last night, attended by clients, alumni and current team members.
"Western Australia is globally recognised for its strength in natural resources and its growing leadership in innovation and technology," Neeraj Aggarwal, Asia Pacific Chair, Boston Consulting Group said.
"Our new office reflects BCG's deepening commitment to the state, enabling us to work even more closely with clients on their most critical challenges," Aggarwal added.
BCG's Perth presence began in 2010 with a small team who relocated from Sydney, Melbourne, New Zealand, and Germany.
The management consultants' first office, opened in 2011, could fit just 15 people.
In 2011, BCG won a major program of work with one of the large miners, resulting in over 80 people temporarily relocating to Perth or regularly transiting through.
This influx forced BCG to expand into additional office space before relocating to 108 St Georges Terrace in 2013, where it remained for the next 12 years.
Today, BCG has around 50 people permanently based in Perth, with many more flying in weekly to support client projects.
The team has expanded from one local Partner to six and has become a hub for mining and oil and gas expertise, as well as artificial intelligence through its local BCG X footprint.
"Our move to QV1 is a milestone in BCG's journey in Perth, managing director and partner Matthew Leach said.
"It reflects not just our growth, but our deep commitment to Western Australia," Leach added. "
