BigAir deploys Ruckus wi-fi for 300-room student digs
The Pad

BigAir will install and manage the wi-fi network for a new 286-room student accommodation to be opened in September in Brisbane.

The company is deploying Ruckus 802.11ac wave 2 wireless access points at the location, dubbed 'The Pad', which plans to house more than 5,000 beds in the next three to five years.

The Pad chief operating officer Fabby Ernesta said: "By appointing BigAir to install on the first site, we’re confident that our customers will have the best experience for their online education and leisure."

BigAir manages 200 sites with almost 40,000 students in campus environments around Australia.
