Bevy of client wins help Aussie distie to top Nutanix status

Disruptive virtualisation vendor Nutanix has appointed its first local 'Elite' partner.

BEarena has helped Nutanix secure clients such as Sanity Music, Pearson VUE, South Taranaki District Council and Southlands District Council.

According to the distie, there are more accounts in the pipeline.

This rapid adoption backs up Nutanix's reputation as an up-and-coming vendor of note. The firm has seen an annualised run rate of US$80 million, "eclipsing the market adoption velocity of all storage, networking and infrastructure startups since the early 2000s", it claimed.

BEarena technical director Darren Ashley said: “Virtualisation has changed the industry and the way we conduct business, and it continues to evolve in this newly heralded software paradigm.

"Nutanix is at the forefront of the technology that supports these Google-like software defined environments, and is changing the way organisations are consuming virtualisation infrastructure," added Ashley.

Wayne Neich, the newly appointed Australia and New Zealand managing director of Nutanix, said: “We are delighted that BEarena has qualified as our first Elite partner in the region.

"BEarena shares our vision of the software-defined data centre and truly converged compute-plus-storage platforms.

"Their strength in virtualised architectures and superior customer support have enabled endless customers to evolve from legacy based technologies to the high performance and scale-out systems of tomorrow," added Neich.
