Microsoft gold partner UXC Eclipse has landed a deal to upgrade Adelaide-based Beyond Bank's legacy CRM and deploy Office 365 for its 600 employees.
UXC will upgrade the bank from Prosper to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. Beyond Bank will abandon IBM’s Lotus Note suite in exchange for Office 365, utilising SharePoint Online as its web application framework.
Melbourne-based Kloud will also be responsible for moving Beyond Bank to Microsoft’s Lync and Exchange Online.
Beyond Bank CIO Robert Aitken said as well as replacing its legacy system, adopting Office 365 would provide much needed mobility to its operations. “For us, it’s about providing technology the business can use anywhere,” said Aitken.
“As a bank, we’re heavily regulated, so it’s key that we can provide assurance, security and privacy. It definitely made the decision easier to move to Office 365.”
UXC Eclipse will start deploying Office 365 in its head office in Adelaide and continue to expand to all 47 Beyond Bank branches in New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia and ACT.
