Sydney-based IT services firm Avocado Consulting has appointed Jane Robinson as chief operating officer (COO).
Robinson will oversee all operations with a focus on governance, culture and ensuring resilience across all processes and systems to support Avocado's 150 consultants across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland, the company said.
She will also lead Avocado's Project Services business.
"Jane brings a wealth of capability to Avocado, and I am looking forward to working once again with someone of her calibre," said Avocado CEO Gerardo Barranquero.
"This appointment is key for Avocado's future. As we begin our third decade in business and expand new service lines, it instils confidence to know Jane will be supporting our business, our consultants and our clients so we can continue to deliver with certainty."
Robinson most recently served as head of technology at SaaS startup Advice Intelligence, which was incubated in Avocado before being spun off and acquired by global fintech GBST last year.
She previously worked at Avocado as head of client services and later head of development services.
"I'm happy to come full circle and be 'home' again. Being with Avocado in the earlier years and returning now as they celebrate their 20th anniversary is great," Robinson said.
"It's exciting to be back to continue building the Avocado legacy as a trusted IT partner and contribute to the ongoing growth and success."
