Australia's Access Testing sets up in Asian cyber hub

Access Testing, part of Dialog Group, has established an office in Hong Kong's Cyberport.

Billed as Hong Kong's premier digital and IT community, Cyberport supports a community of "technology and digital content tenants" and is wholly owned by the Hong Kong government.

Federico Favini, general manager of Access Testing, said: "Hong Kong is very much the heart of Asia. The city runs like clockwork and its infrastructure is highly attractive for IT service companies like us."

"Networking is essential in any country, but even more so in Hong Kong. We chose to set up our office in Cyberport because it's right in the heart of Hong Kong's IT community.

"There's easy access to top universities and talent and we've since partnered with universities to launch a graduate program where we recruit, train, certify and mentor local graduates.

"Our ambition is to invest in Hong Kong by creating a pool of locally based IT testing professionals. We want to completely transform the face of testing in Hong Kong," said Favini.

Cyberport is not only Access Testing's Hong Kong landlord – the government agency has since come on as a client.

Access Testing was founded in 1995 and now has more than 270 testing professionals across Australia and Hong Kong.

It is part of Dialog Group, which comprises six companies employing more than 900 IT professionals.
