Australian managed extended detection and response (XDR) company LMNTRIX has appointed Oliver Chivers to lead its growth in EMEA.
His appointment as EMEA VP of sales and service follows LMNTRIX's "significant growth in ANZ, APAC and the US," the company said.
Founded in 2015, LMNTRIX offers an XDR platform which uses AI and machine learning to reduce and prioritise alerts, as well as perform full containments and remediations.
The platform also relies on LMNTRIX's Global Cyber Defense Centre that consists of intrusion analysts that provide 24x7 monitoring and analysis of networks.
LMNTRIX has a partner go-to-market in all regions, where it is onboarding new partners.
Chivers joins the company from eSentire, where during a two-year stint he helped set up the company's EMEA and international business and launched its managed detection and response and SOCaaS business in APAC.
By attending CRN security channel events and CRN Pipeline, he led the recruitment of eSentire partners and its local team, including the likes of InfoTrust, Rubicon8, AV Tech, Exigo Tech, Tradewinds, Inspira and Tech Data.
Prior to eSentire, Chivers held roles at telco providers including Telstra, where he was general manager of business mobility and solutions.
He also co-founded the Telstra Apps Marketplace with solutions including exclusives on Microsoft 365 and DocuSign in ANZ, setting up partner solutions accreditations and go-to-market in Telstra Business.
Chivers was also a founding team member of UK telco O2, having worked as the commercial lead setting up the Group HQ, CTO function and demerger from BT, as well as the company's start-up B2B offering.
He also worked at T-Mobile UK, where sitting on the group international B2B board he guided its B2B partner channel through a merger with Orange and created a new partner program.
