IT solutions company Presence of IT has won an award from SAP for deploying a new recruitment solution.
Presence of IT, which has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, was contracted by Incitec Pivot, a chemical company active in mining and agriculture, to develop new a new recruitment solution that could be integrated into its existing SAP system.
Presence of IT chief executive David Brookes said: "The IPL project was a challenging one, as some bespoke configuration needed to be completed.
"Our team worked closely with Incitec Pivot to get the solution in and 'live' in just four months. It was completed on time, within budget and with minimal disruption to the customer."
The new solution was deployed in Incitec Pivot's Australian and Indonesian offices.
Human resources head Debbie Shagam said: "The new solution allows Incitec Pivot to manage both external and internal recruitment activities, including the on-boarding and off-loading of contractors, and the on-boarding of employees.
"It also ensures risks relating to contractor management are minimised and the solution has also delivered improved process efficiencies," added Shagam.
Presence of IT was recognised at the 2013 SAP Customer Awards of Excellence by winning the "Best Run Business Applications - Human Capital Management" award.
