Focusing on the main theme of “Access Life with ASUS”, the company showcased the new Eee PC S101, which launched in Australia last month and the Eee PC S101H (hard disk version) which is available here in February.
Extending on the Eee range, visitors saw the: Eee Box desktop PC, Eee Keyboard, Eee Stick - wireless gaming controller, Eee Top – an all-in-one touchscreen computer, Eee PC T91 and T101H, which will be launched in the second half of 2009.
Other products included the S121 notebook, coming to Australia at the end of the first quarter/early second quarter, the ASUS G71 gaming notebook and the Lamborghini VX5 available in the second half of 2009.
“The ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Rampage II Extreme is the motherboard for muscle gaming and holder of several world records for overclocking,” a spokesman for ASUS said.
Showcased at CES, the ROG Rampage II Extreme includes the ROG Extreme Engine and the premium Multi-layer type Polymer Capacitors (ML Caps).
The new M4 Series which supports the latest AMD processor will be launched in Australia next month.
Other CES highlights included; the Xonar HDAV1.3 Deluxe audio card which features Protected Audio Playback Systems (PAPS) and full Advanced Access Content System (AACS) certification for non-down-sampled Blu-ray audio.
The P4-P5N9300 PC and the ASUS TW100-E5 Quadro FX470 workstation.
