The company has signed with In-tellect, Softgen and TechPlus for its A/NZ market and now has 40 resellers since starting six months ago.
Under the agreement, In-tellect will offer Unified Threat Management (UTM) products to organisations across Australia, SoftGen will deliver products via its partner network and TechPlus will sell solutions in New Zealand.
Bryan Stibbard, vice president of sales AP/J said the company has been growing heavily thanks to its presence now in Australia.
“A partner can look at what we have done over the past six months and see that we have followed through with our commitments,” said Stibbard.
“We are not just focused on building partners where another partner doesn’t get any value. We are looking for a small number of organisations to work with,” he added.
Stibbard said the reason for choosing the three firms was TechPlus was already an existing distributor and it wanted to expand its reach to cover New Zealand.
He said SoftGen has been in the distribution game for a long time focusing on business software solutions. Stibbard had worked with the company before and has known the company general manager Guy Coles for 15 years.
And In-tellect, an IT company, is a partner that focuses on SMBs.
“We are continuing to target new partners and have some more announcements to make soon as we continue to expand our portfolio,” said Stibbard.
Resellers can take advantage of Astaro training and support either on a two day course, attending Webinar sessions, via pdfs and power point, or for APJ via phone and email. Resellers can take an online exam to become certified.
