Arinco has delivered what it describes as a "secure and scalable data platform" for the Western Australian Biodiversity Science Institute (WABSI) and the Western Australian Marine Science Institution (WAMSI).
The platform underpins the launch of the Shared Environmental Analytics Facility (SEAF), an initiative that enables trusted data sharing across private organisations, government agencies, and research institutions.
The SEAF platform’s Integrated Groundwater Database serves as the foundation for environmental impact assessments, bringing together private data from industry, as well as government and research organisations.
By centralising data and offering advanced analytical tools, including mapping, reporting and forecasting, stakeholders can assess cumulative environmental impacts and balance development with conservation priorities.
Arinco designed the platform with security and compliance controls, creating separate workspaces for each organisation while enabling centralised data analysis, to maintain consistency and reliability across diverse data sources.
The platform’s scalable infrastructure also ensures it can accommodate growing data volumes and future regional adoption, supporting Western Australia’s sustainability goals.
