ArcSend, software designed to enable firms to SMS or email thousands of messages, has been launched across Australia and New Zealand.
The product aims to simplify email and SMS broadcasts, making it more cost effective for organisations to reach their contacts, according to arcSend.
Kathryn Van Kuyk, communications manager at ArcSend said its offering is a content management application which can improve the way in which companies communicate with customers, members and employees.
“You can send messages to selected recipients or to customised distribution lists of any size, to as many as 10,000 recipients. There is no dedicated email or SMS software required - all you need is an Internet connection and you are ready to send messages.”
Van Kuyk said many companies are embracing SMS technology as a small outlay which can provide strong returns on investment.
“SMS marketing strategies are being incorporated into customer relationship programs, loyalty programs and even to send customers reminders about overdue bill repayments,” added Van Kuyk.
The ArcSend contact management software is free to download and SMS messages can be sent to Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Canada. Support for additional destinations is expected to be available shortly.
