Apple ramps up Joint Venture marketing

Apple has begun promoting its new after sale support program for businesses, launching an electronic direct marketing campaign (EDM).

With the subject line "Introducing Joint Venture", the EDM promised that the program “can help you use Mac, iPhone and iPad to improve the way your business runs”.

"We'll set up your new Apple products, train your employees and give you priority support.

"And you'll have the full support of our Business Team who will offer guidance, answer questions and even provide a little inspiration."

Apple launched its widely rumoured business support service Joint Venture on March 4 making further inroads to the channel.

One Apple reseller who preferred to remain anonymous told CRN that Apple was “coming after every market”.  

The reseller claimed that "Apple wanted to weaken the reseller channel even more".
