Apple Australia appears to be jumping on the US ‘Black Friday’ trend, promoting via its website a one-day sale on Friday November 25.
The retailer is keeping its cards close to its chest in terms of pricing but is promising a one-day event for customer to snatch up iPad, iPod and Mac products. An accompanied graphic suggests keyboards, mice, iMacs and possibly iPhones will also be up for grabs.
The trend is imported from vendors in the US who traditionally slash prices on ‘Black Friday’ for the Thanksgiving shopping rush. Apple UK has similarly jumped on the bandwagon this year, joining long time Black Friday dealer Amazon to offer customers Boxing Day-equivalent sales.
Apple Australia declined to provide further information.
