Network vendor, APC has launched Data Centre University, an online educational institution for resellers, IT professionals and engineers.
Data Centre University hosts a series of Web-based courses designed to provide data centre training in data centre design, build and operations, the company said.
The initial launch offers 14 foundation courses and six advanced courses that cover a range of subjects related to data centre design and management.
All courses are vendor neutral and individuals can complete most of the courses in around one hour, APC said.
Courses offered also focus on the critical technologies and best practices that are relevant to scalable, modular data centre infrastructure. Data Centre University is also an education partner of the IEEE.
From now until August all online courses are free of charge, said Gordon Makryllos, country general manager of APC Australia and New Zealand.
An APC spokesperson said APC Data Centre Uni courses will be priced at AU$100 ($US79, after its special offer.
