Distributor Altech has signed agreements with graphics card vendor EVGA and chipset supplier VIA.
The EVGA deal will cover the vendor’s motherboards and graphics cards, while the VIA deal comprises of VIA MM mainboards featuring the VIA C7-D processor, the world’s first carbon free CPU, and core logic chipsets.
Antony Sheen, managing director at Altech, said: “Altech’s partnership with EVGA will significantly add to the breadth of graphics card and motherboard solutions Altech Computers offers gamers.
“EVGA’s combination of factory set overclocking and strong warranty’s push the limits of over clocked graphics cards which will be of great benefit to the Australian market. Utilising the 8, 7, 6 and the FX family of Nvidia chipsets, EVGA achieve extreme memory bandwidth and use specifically designed efficient cooling fans to make the gamers environment stable.”
Commenting on the VIA agreement, Sheen said the deal increases the scope of environmentally friendly products offered to Altech customers. “VIA is a brand recognised for its innovation across the market,” added Sheen.
The EVGA and VIA portfolios are now available through Altech’s network of resellers.
